Make a special day a chocolate day with gourmet chocolate cakes, tarts and muffins. From tantalizing traditional items like chocolate cheesecake, to new tempting treats like the Chocolate Celebration Cake, these succulent creations of yours will make this special day of yours memorable.

Hands-On Outline
Participants are expected to work in groups in weighing ingredients, washing utensils etc. Each participant will, most of the time, have their own cake to work on and very often are encourage to create their own designed cakes . During the workshops, you may be required to take down notes and tips for baking. Participants may have to bring along an apron. After all the culinary experience, participants would bring home their own masterpieces.

You will learn:
• Theory and practical aspects of baking with chocolate
• You will be led from the foundation to the advanced level in making cakes and desserts with chocolate
• Types of chocolate available in the market
• How to melt chocolate to the right consistency
• How to store chocolate
• How to chocolate decoration for cakes
• Participants will learn about the different types of chocolate and also use them during the workshop

Foundation
Drowning with Chocolate Muffins - This is a special three chocolate muffins with chocolate fillings in them.

Chocolate Sponge Cake – This is the most basic sponge cake that you will need to know in cake-making. (Not using sponge mix)

Intermediate
American Chocolate Carrot Cake – Beautiful and moist. You will sure love it…..especially when it is eaten together with its beautiful traditional frost

Rich Chocolate Mars Cheesecake – Incorporate Mars Chocolate into this velvety-rich chocolate cream - a cold set cheesecake top with a layer of ganache and chocolate decoration

A Bachelorette Party (Hen Party)

Last night we host a lovely bachelorette party for our lovely bride-to-be Mabel and all her good friends (jie mei). It was such a lovely party and I believe everyone enjoyed themselves, coming together baking and decorating cupcakes.
