In this workshop you will learn how to cover special occasion cakes with fondant icing and practice the art of moulded teddy bears which will be used as cake topper. Your efforts will be rewarded when you see your very own breathtaking masterpieces of Birthday or Christening cakes.
Hands-On Outline
1. Demonstration of making a madeira cake
2. Gain hands-on skills in creating 3D cake decoration techniques
3. Gain hands-on skills in creating and modeling different teddy bears with fondant
4. Gain hands-on skills in creating interesting ribbon and bows to cover the cake
5. Gain hands-on skills in covering the cake with coloured fondant - an essential skill for any decorator
