“Karipok” is perhaps one of the most favourable savoury snack in Singapore for many years in Singapore. With the evolution of just the humble and simple curry puffs, we are now presented with an array of creative-inspired curry puffs. Whatever their inspired forms could be, karipok are definitely and unequivocally Singaporean.If you are thinking of setting up your own food kiosk specializing in curry puffs, this workshop is definitely a worthwhile course for you. • Methods in producing commercial curry puffs that can last for at least 3 mths
• Methods in storing them to keep them longer (without any preservatives)
• How to make the curry fillings

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - NONYA-STYLE NASI BRIYANI With CURRY & NGOR HIANG Workshop

Time: 9.30am – 1pm


Nonya-Style Nasi Briyani Set - Originally from India, it is called Nasi Briyani in Singapore. 'Nasi' is rice in Malay, and this tells you that it has been influenced and adopted by the Peranakans and Malays as well. Nasi Briyani is a savoury rice steeped in rich spices which makes one remember it forever.

Nonya Ngor Hiang – or sometimes known as asian meat roll is a wonderful starter. It is often eaten together with hot piping rice. This Nonya Ngor Hiang would go very well with the Nasir Briyani too.
During the class, participants would learn how to:

1. Make the special Nonya Style Nasi Briyani
2. Make the beautiful curry that goes with nasi briyani with special rempeh
3. Learn how to make the special yogurt that would be used in the nasi briyani
4. Learn how to make the nonya ngor hiang and how to wrap it.
5. Learn how to make the ngor hiang crispy
6. Learn how to store it that can be kept for at least 3 months

SINFUL CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES WORKSHOP

Do you love chocolate? Do you truly believe that chocolate makes every day a better day? Do images of chocolate make you run screaming to your secret stash, for a quick hit of satisfaction and contentment? Does the mere thought of chocolate makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside?

If you answered YES to any of the above, then you are a prime candidate for this sinful Chocolate Cupcake Workshop. This cupcake workshop will charm you up to great lengths so that you will bake three beloved flavours, frost them with patience and care and summon every ounce of creativity to decorate them impressively.

Workshop OutlineParticipants are expected to work in groups in weighing ingredients, washing utensils etc. Each participant will, most of the time, have their own cake to work on and very often are encourage to create their own designed cakes . During the workshops, you may be required to take down notes and tips for baking. Participants may have to bring along an apron. After the lessons, participants would bring home their own masterpieces.
